Sidhu Moosewala's song 295 rocks Commonwealth Games 2022 closing ceremony as India ends on 'high note'; Watch Video

India is already standing proud and tall as the players have got 61 medals for India in the Common Wealth Games. India right now stands in the fourth position in CWG 2022.

Another thing that happened at the closing ceremony of the games being held at Birmingham was that a famous track of Punjabi slain singer Sidhu Moosewala was played on an International platform.

The closing ceremony was not only power packed with Bhangra performance by ‘Apache Indian’ but the ‘295’ track of Sidhu Moosewala also roared at the closing ceremony which made every Indian watching it a bit emotional.

Steven Kapur, a reggae DJ and a singer-songwriter, popularly known as 'Apache Indian' also performed, sending out some of the best chartbusters, ‘Pass the Dutchie', ‘Red Red Wine' and 'Boom Shack-A-Lak' to commemorate sound system culture of the city.

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang on 29th May 2022 at his village in the Mansa district.

Indians appreciated the way he was paid tribute at the closing ceremony of one of the prestigious games of the world.

More than 4,500 athletes competed against each other over the past 11 days and India finished at the fourth position having 22 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals.
