The condition in Afghanistan is getting worse day by day. 290 Sikh people are trapped in hotels near airport in Afghanistan. These Sikh families pleas to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to appeal to US President Joe Biden to help these families. The flight that was supposed to arrive yesterday to rescue people was cancelled by the US officials as the Taliban started firing outside the airport.
On the flight, yesterday a total of 290 people was to be rescued out of which 220 were Indian Sikhs whereas 70 were Afghani Sikhs.
These people trapped in Afghanistan told that since 15 August no flight is coming directly from any nation. If there are people trapped from any nation, the Nation with help of the US airforce is shifting these people to Iran. And from Iran, these people can catch flights to their respective countries.
According to sources, the Taliban is openly firing because of which there is a state of panic and chaos in the country. Though the Taliban leader is regularly meeting with the Afghanistan Gurudwara Committee President Gurnam Singh and the Taliban leader has also assured them that all the Sikhs will be provided security and he even gave them his contact number in case they face any inconvenience. But all the Sikhs have decided that they want to come to India as early as possible.
