Lending support to the farmers in their fightagainst the new central farm laws, members of Sikh Talmel Committee inJalandhar today led to the forced closure of Reliance Jewels store near GuruNanak Mission Chowk.
The members staged a protest outside the RelianceJewels store and raised slogans in favour of farmers accusing the corporatehouses of making inroads for the agriculture sector in connivance with theUnion government.
The members gave full support the farmers protestingat Delhi borders and said no matter what comes in but they won’t back up andwill lend every help possible to protesting farmers. They also appealed to thecentral government to take back the laws as it would hamper the agriculturesector and especially the marginal farmers.
