Veer Paharia, who recently made his Bollywood Debut with Sky Force is the son of Smruti Shinde, daughter of former Maharastra CM Sushil Kumar Shinde and Businessman Sanjay Paharia. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actor openly talked about his tough time and difficult upbringing and how his parents' divorce impacted his early years.

Veer admitted that witnessing exhausted relationships at home was inimical to him as a kid. He shared, “It is not good for any child when their parents separate. Back then, there was no social media or any way for me to understand what was happening. It was a very strange experience growing up. Newspapers were constantly publishing details about their court proceedings, and everything was on the internet. I felt ashamed to go to school and didn't have many friends. I was quiet and shy and I stayed away from people. I don't want this to happen to any child."

He shared that it was a strange experience and challenging to explain the situation to his friends. The sense of discomfiture often accompanied him during school days. Talking about this phase, Veer acknowledged that such experiences could deeply impact any child.

Discussing his relationship with his father, Veer disclosed that they were distant after his move to Mumbai but have now come closer. He shared, “I didn't see my father much, but now we are very close. My parents have always played their roles as parents even though they weren't great as husband and wife. But I never felt their absence as parents.

He further added about therapy, “I think we all go through trauma at some point in life, and we should talk about it. For me, therapy and acting workshops have helped a lot and I still believe in love and marriage.”

Despite these emotional challenges, Veer has embraced his journey with positivity. His inspiring story reflects how misfortunes and adversities can be changed or transformed into opportunities.
