Information and Communication Technologies of Turkey hasimposed an advertising ban on Twitter, Periscope and Pinterest under therecently enacted Social Media law. The decisions were published in the officialgazette of the country on Tuesday.

Facebook, Twitter and YouTube had faced a ban on thepretext of not following the guidelines. As per the law, if a company doesn'tfollow the guidelines, their bandwidth will be slashed by 90%.
