Sonakshi Sinha wishes father Shatrughan Sinha on his 76th Birthday, posts lovely note

Today veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha turns a year older. On his 76th birthday, fans and family started wishing him on his special day. The original Bihari babu, Shatru, with his scarred face and deep voice, has endeared himself to millions with some sterling performances on screen.

 
From Khamosh to Shyaam Aaye to keh dena ki Chenu Aaya tha, iconic dialogues of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha are deeply remembered by his fans. His way of saying “Khamosh” is quite memorable in Indian cinema.

 
On his big day, Sonakshi Sinha has shared a short heartfelt note to wish her father. She wrote, “Happy Birthdayyyy to the big boss man! Love you Papa..”

 





Sinha was born in Patna, Bihar, to Bhubaneswari Prasad Sinha and Shyama Devi Sinha. He is the youngest of four brothers – Ram, Lakshman, Bharat and himself. His father wanted him to become a doctor. But, he always wanted to do something different in his life. He has a desire to become an actor.  He moved to Mumbai, where he started his career in the film industry. He is married to former Miss India Poonam Sinha.

 

Some of his notable films as a lead hero were Ab Kya Hoga, Khan Dost, Yaaraon Ka Yaar, Dillagi, Vishwanath, Muqabla and Jaani Dushman. His other hit films in the mid-eighties included Jeene Nahi Doonga, Bhawani Junction, Aandhi-Toofan, Ramkali, Ilzaam and Asli Naqli.

 


 
On Tuesday, he extended heartfelt birthday wishes for fellow celebrity Sharmila Tagore on her 77th birthday. He wrote, “Warm & loving birthday wishes for the most elegant, stylish, gorgeous Sharmila Tagore. Wishing her all the very best for the years ahead. #HappyBirthday”
