Sonu-Sood Bollywood Helping-Hand

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been winning hearts across the nation by helping migrant workers reach their native districts safely during the COVID-19 pandemic but he's now gone a step further  and won the hearts of the residents of Punjab. Recently, 4 minor children from District Taran Taran lost both of their parents due to the recent spurious liquor issue prevalent in Punjab. Their father consumed the poisoned liquor supplied by the liquor mafia after which he died. His spouse died from a heart attack soon after she saw her late husband's mortal remains the next morning. To the poor children's misfortune, soon after they cremated their deceased parent’s, their land lord kicked them out and tossed their furniture on the streets.

None of their relatives took them in either citing their own poverty and the inability to raise 4 children.

After the Bollywood actor heard their story, he decided to step in as their saviour.

The actor said- "They are no more orphans now. I am there to take care of them. I was keenly following the liquor tragedy. I was moved to know the story of Taran Taran based four children. We are on the lookout for a best place where they could be accommodated and get good education."

Sood has reportedly roped in his fried Karan Golhotra from Chandigarh to assist him in finding the children. Gilhotra has reportedly already shortlisted a children's home for the children in the form of "Mata Chaya Ashram".

Karan Golhotra said- "They will have a homely atmosphere and their education will be taken care of by us."
