Sonu Sood to start Covid vaccine drive from Amritsar

The Bollywood actor chose the occasion of World Health Day to start his vaccination drive today in Amritsar.

 The corona savior of the Indian common man, Sonu Sood who helped migrant workers to reach their homes during the pandemic last year. This year again the man is on the streets to help his countrymen. This time Sonu Sood is out to spread awareness about the covid vaccine. To start the awareness drive he himself will take the jab and motivate others to do so. The Bollywood actor chose the occasion of World Health Day to start his vaccination drive today in Amritsar.

Throwing some light on his initiative the actor says, “I have planned countrywide covid vaccine drive beginning from Amritsar. While I encourage people to get vaccinated, I myself will take the vaccine shot today to motivate them. There is too much confusion among people about the vaccine.  People are still wondering whether to take the jab or not.  So, I thought it was time to get down and spread awareness about the importance of getting vaccinated”. Sonu Sood picked up his hometown to begin the drive. He will be lighting the lamp of the vaccination drive from the iconic location of Attari-Wagah border in Amritsar.

He also talked about the ongoing farmer’s protest, “it has been long since the farmers have been protesting on Delhi borders and its high time that government should try and find a solution to this”. According to sources, Sonu is also trying to make vaccines available to people for free at private hospitals in different cities. He says, “we are trying to tie up with NGOs at places like Nashik and Indore where we will make free vaccines available for people.
