Actorand philanthropist Sonu Sood said anyone who has lost a loved one due tocovid-19 has not failed, it’s the system that has failed. The scarcity of oxygenor injection has created this failure. The actor feels responsible for this, fornot being able to help everyone.

"Anyonewho has lost a loved one due to scarcity of Oxygen or injection, will neverbe able to live in peace all their life. They will always live with a feelingthat they failed to save their family. I want to tell them.. You didn't fail,We did," Sonu tweeted late on Tuesday night. The actor has expressed greatregret for not being able to save them. The moment he tweeted this, netizenscame rushing to reassure him that he has done everything he could have done. Theyalso told him not to get discouraged and that he should continue doing thisholy work of helping.

Sincelast year, Sonu has been working relentlessly to help people amid the Covidcrisis. He and his team recently saved the lives of 22 patients at a Bengaluruhospital, and also arranged for a critically ill Covid patient to be airliftedfrom Jhansi to Hyderabad for necessary treatment.

On May3, Sonu thanked Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas for backing his appeal forfree education to children of those who lost their lives to Covid. "Thanksa ton Priyanka for your support. I promise we will make this happen," Sonuwrote to Priyanka, along with a folded hands emoji.
