Sourav Ganguly to undergo medical tests, stent insertion likely after reports

Ganguly is likely to go through Angiography. As per reports, doctors are expected to decide if another stent will be inserted or not.

Sourav Ganguly, President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will undergo series of medical tests as per reports in the media. He has been hospitalized second time on Wednesday.

After reports are generated, it will be ascertained what kind of treatment will be chalked for him. Ganguly is likely to go through Angiography. As per reports, doctors are expected to decide if another stent will be inserted or not.

The senior doctor was quoted by The Indian Express, "“Mr Ganguly slept well all night. He had a light breakfast this morning. A series of tests will be conducted on him today to decide on the next course of treatment.”

According to sources, Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee called Ganguly in the morning to enquire about his health. Ashok Bhattacharya, a senior CPI (M) leader also paid a visit.

Ganguly was rushed to hospital after he felt dizzy with slight discomfort in chest, as told to media by his family.
