Although the United States of America is called the most developed nation in the world, the country is still facing the evil of racial discrimination. Multiple videos are already available in the public domain which shows the cases of racial discrimination. In fact, the Black Lives Matter campaign ultimately became the deciding factor due to which US President Donald Trump lost the election to Joe Biden. Now, Denny’s national chain of restaurants came under the scanner of social media after a 'white' waitress was filmed and caught on tape in what is labeled as racial discrimination. The incident occurred in South Dakota's Denny’s restaurant where a white waitress allegedly refused to serve black customers. Notably, South Dakota Denny's video is spreading like wildfire on social media and it is alleged that the black customers were actually truckers who visited the eatery for food. But ultimately they were kicked out of there by the 'white' waitress.

In the viral South Dakota Denny's video, the waitress can be heard saying, "...you people should leave because we have a lot of people around or the Police will be on their way." The customers in reply can be heard asking, "Why do we have to leave, we just came here to order food." As the video is filled with noise, reports suggest that the video which was apparently first posted to social media in mid-August, lasts for a little more than five minutes and shows a waitress explaining to the two Black men that they would need to leave the Sioux Falls location for reasons that she said were unclear to her. The waitress said the police would be called if they stayed.

As per US media reports, the black men were identified on social media as truck drivers Damon Whitfield and Hector Madeira. As per them, they were sitting for 15 minutes without service and when one of them tried to get a waitress’ attention to order, they were accused of yelling. That’s when two police officers showed up and escorted the would-be customers from their table. Notably, they informed the cops that they just visited the place to eat, however, they refused to serve them. As a result, the officers gave the men the contact information for Denny’s corporate offices and encouraged them to place their complaints there while making it clear the men had to leave the restaurant.

Denny's Spokesperson was quoted by a US media portal saying, "A member of Denny’s leadership team has been in contact with these two valued guests involved in this restaurant visit to ensure they know this situation has our full attention. We are actively investigating the incident reported at Denny’s in Sioux Falls, South Dakota..At the conclusion of the investigation, we will take appropriate disciplinary action.”
