South Sudan-origin student of Ludhiana's PCTE University found dead under mysterious circumstances

Hailing from South Sudan, the PCTE University student was identified as Morde Medi Yokobo.

In a shocking development, a foreign student of Ludhiana's PCTE University was found dead in his bedroom late Saturday night. Hailing from South Sudan, the PCTE University student was identified as Morde Medi Yokobo. The PCTE University is located on Ferozepur Road. Reports suggest that his friends found him lying dead in the room. According to the doctors of Civil Hospital, the student had been vomiting, due to which he died.

 

As per a report, Yokobo came to Ludhiana a year ago. Currently, he used to live on rent at Narendra Bansal's house in Sunder Nagar. His body was kept in the civil hospital mortuary at 2.45 in the night.  Cvil Hospital doctors have reportedly informed that Yokoba was vomiting near MBD Mall. He died during this period. The matter is suspicious, but Yokobo's friends say that when they went to his room late at night, he was lying on the bed.

 

Seeing his deteriorating condition, they took him to a private hospital, but the doctors referred him to the civil hospital. When Yokobo reached Civil hospital, the doctors declared him dead. Yokobo's family has been informed by his friends. As per his friends, they will not get his postmortem done. His body will be sent to South Sudan. On the other hand, the Civil Hospital Administration has informed Police Station Sarabha Nagar. Police is taking further action. Yokobo was in the second year of the BA program.
