South superstar Allu Arjun tests positive for COVID-19

The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram to say that he is well and that his fans need not be concerned about his fitness.

Allu Arjun has tested positive for COVID-19, following Pawan Kalyan. The star, who was in Hyderabad filming Sukumar's Pushpa, took to social media to keep fans updated on his health. Due to his mild symptoms, AA has isolated himself at home. The actor has also reassured his fans and well-wishers that he is in good health.

The actor from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo tweeted, "Hello everyone! I have tested positive for Covid. I have isolated myself. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. I request all my well-wishers and fans not to worry as I am doing fine.  Stay home, stay safe ." 




Allu Arjun is unquestionably a South film industry megastar. His millions of fans are completely obsessed with him and follow his every step. His fans want to know all about him, from signing new movies to buying new cars to going on family vacations. When the teaser for his much-anticipated film Pushpa was released a few days ago, his fans went wild.

On social media, the actor's fans are wishing him a speedy recovery. "Sending you speedy recovery wishes..get well soon," Rakul Preet Singh wrote in a comment. "Wish you a speedy recovery," Raashi Khanna wrote, expressing her concern for the star. #GetWellAsap Allu Arjun is currently trending on Twitter, with fans and well-wishers wishing him a fast recovery. Pooja Hegde, Allu Arjun's co-star in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, has also tested positive for COVID-19. Pooja Hegde, who was preparing for Thalapathy 65, revealed that she had been quarantined at home. "Good morning, everybody. I'm writing to let you know that I tested positive for COVID-19. I've isolated and quarantined myself at home, following all of the protocols. I request that all those who have recently come into touch with me be screened as well," Pooja said in an Instagram statement.

Returning to Pushpa, Fahadh Faasil was recently in Hyderabad with Allu Arjun and the team for a new schedule. The creators have put the filming on hold now that AA has tested positive for the Coronavirus. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the film.
