Indian Railways has announced that it will run special trains to Bihar to facilitate smooth travel and manage the heavy rush of passengers for the upcoming Chhath Puja in November.
According to reports, 46 special trains have been allocated to operate on tracks. Like every year it is expected that the railways will be witnessing a huge passenger rush during the Chhath Puja celebrations.
Chhath puja this year will be observed from November 18 to November 21.
Earlier, in an announcement Indian Railways had said that around 392 festival special trains will operate between October 20 and November 30. These special trains were announced to cater to the growing demand during the festival period of Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath puja.
The new festive special trains are timed to operate till November 30 and will be discontinued after the season is over.
