The Internet has been buzzing with fans going gaga over the potential team-up of Daredevil and Spider-Man. Yes, you heard it right, fans have been expressing their excitement on social media after Spider-Man 4 rumour that it suggests it will have a 'Daredevil' storyline. Spider-Man 4 or let's say No Way Home came up with a surprise for the fans when Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock appeared to help sort out the legal troubles of Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Although Daredevil's appearance in Spider-Man's No Way Home was a brief one, fans indeed loved the idea of putting the two most loved superheroes together. As a result, the Spider-Man 4 rumours have been buzzing on the internet and fans reckon that the team-up of Matt Murdock and Peter Parker or let's say Marvel and Sony is indeed a possibility.

Now, the question arises, how the fans came up with the idea that Spider-Man 4 will see the storyline of Daredevil? The answer lies in one possibility i.e. entry point for a Daredevil and Spider-Man team-up that many have campaigned for is on the former's Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. Furthermore, Hollywood actor Tom Holland who plays the role of Marvel's Spider-Man has also expressed hope for that potential partnership, saying that he is interested in "[finding] a way for Spider-Man and Daredevil to team up again" in the future.

Notably, after the report of Spider-Man 4's July 2024 release date, The Cosmic Circus also revealed that the upcoming Tom Holland-led movie has a 'street-level story' that could explore the aftermath of the events of Daredevil: Born Again. The revelation fueled the speculation and rumours on a new high and fans started trending #SpiderMan4 on Twitter.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has already teased that "Spidey [is] going into the street level heroes," hinting that he will focus on protecting New York City rather than the world (and the Multiverse) in his next outing. Therefore, this will put the Spider-Man, in potential encounters with Daredevil and other Defenders like Jessica Jones and the Punisher.

However, the timeline between the release of two much-awaited web series and the movie is a problem. The Daredevil's Disney+ series is expected to be in production for nearly all of 2023, this timeline would make it hard or even impossible for Cox and D'Onofrio to film their respective roles in Spider-Man 4. Moreover, the gap between the end of Daredevil: Born Again and the July 2024 release of Spider-Man 4 in July is small.
