Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh, has now demanded a CBI investigation in his son's death.
As per reports, KK Singh has now spoken to Bihar CM Nithish Kumar and has requested him to order a CBI investigation into his son's case
The Bihar government is likely to transfer the case to the CBI.
Sushant's father had filed a complaint in a police station in Patna where he had accused his son’s former girlfriend Rhea Chakarborty of using his son for her own personal gains.
The police then filed a FIR against the actress under various sections of the IPC.
Later a team of 4 officers departed from Bihar to Mumbai to investigate the case but alleged that the Mumbai police were uncooperative and did nothing to assist them in their investigation.
Vinay Tiwari, an SP rank officer who arrived in Mumbai was also reportedly “forcefully quarantined” by the BMC, DGP of Bihar Gupteshwar Pandey alleged.
The delay in the investigation of Sushant's death along with non cooperation on the part of the Mumbai police could be the probable reason why KK Singh has decided to take this step.
