Politics Parineeti-Chopra Raghav-Chadha

In a splendid fusion of Bollywood glamour and political prominence, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra is all set to tie the knot with Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha on September 24.

The grand wedding ceremonies have commenced at the Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

While Parineeti leads a glamorous and luxurious life, making headlines with her brand endorsements and a fleet of high-end cars, Raghav, in contrast, lives a modest middle-class life. Despite a mere 25-day age gap, there's no comparison between their earnings, car collections, and assets.

Parineeti's lavish lifestyle and earnings

According to reports, Parineeti Chopra boasts a net worth of a staggering 60 crores INR. Besides her earnings from films, she also rakes in substantial income from brand endorsements. She has previously endorsed popular brands like Kurkure, Maaza, and Pantene shampoo, reportedly charging fees ranging from 4 to 6 crores INR per film.

Raghav Chadha's modest living and assets

In contrast, Raghav Chadha's assets, as per his election affidavit, amount to a total of 50 lakhs INR, with movable assets valued at 37 lakhs INR.

Parineeti's car collection vs. Raghav's Swift Dzire

Parineeti's car collection includes an Audi A-6, Jaguar XJL, and Audi Q-5. The Jaguar XJL stands out as the most expensive in her collection, priced at around 99 lakhs INR. On the other hand, the Audi A-6 costs approximately 61 lakhs INR, and the Audi Q-5 comes in at 55 lakhs INR.

Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha owns a Maruti Swift Dzire from the 2009 model year and possesses around 90 grams of gold, valued at approximately 4 lakhs INR.

A tale of two careers

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha both embarked on their careers in 2011. After obtaining a degree in business from England, Parineeti interned in the marketing department at Yash Raj Films. During her internship, she discovered her passion for acting and went on to become an actress.

Raghav, on the other hand, was working as a practicing chartered accountant when he joined Anna Hazare's India Against Corruption movement in 2011. During the movement, he met Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi's Chief Minister, and later joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). At Kejriwal's request, Raghav drafted the Lokpal Bill, his first significant political task.

Raghav eventually became the national treasurer of AAP at the age of 26, following the party's victory in the 2015 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. In 2020, he was appointed as the co-in charge of the Punjab Legislative Assembly elections.

A star-studded wedding

The wedding festivities are expected to be attended by several prominent personalities, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Other notable guests include Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Manish Malhotra, and Karan Johar.

With the wedding ceremonies in full swing, Parineeti and Raghav's union has captured the attention of the nation, seamlessly blending the worlds of entertainment and politics.

Security measures and preparations

The wedding is being held under tight security, with the guest list kept strictly confidential. Police have set up 15 checkpoints to ensure security, and 100 security guards will be present at the event.

To protect the privacy of guests, no photography is allowed, and all phone cameras will be sealed with black tape. The couple has also hired a team of 12 private photographers and videographers from Mumbai for the occasion.

The wedding ceremonies are expected to culminate with the Chuda ceremony on September 23, followed by a lavish lunch at the Leela Palace.

The Leela Palace: A world-renowned venue

The Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur has recently been recognized as one of the top three hotels in the world by World Travel Plus Leisure magazine. In 2019, it was ranked first in the list of the world's 100 best hotels by Popular Travel magazine. The 5-star hotel features eight types of suites and 80 luxurious rooms.

As Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's wedding celebrations unfold, it marks a unique blend of two different worlds, reflecting the diversity and charm of Indian culture.
