A school principal’s five story building toppled to the ground in Shimla on Friday afternoon. The building fell down at about 1 PM in the afternoon. A video showing the horrific event has surfaced. Fortunately, no one was present in the building at the time of it’s collapse. The concerned administration authorities promptly reached the spot to assess the situation. The damages are being calculated.
According to reports, the incident occurred about 20 kms away from Shimla. Cracks and damage in the foundation were found about a week ago. Assessing the danger, the building was evacuated before hand.
Rajkumar Sharma is the principal of Chanawag School in Rural Shimla. After the collapse of their building, cracks have appeared on the road connecting Dhami's 16 Mile College. The administration has issued an advisory to not to use this road.
