Sanjay Srivastava, vice president of the association in Lucknow, said, “This will affect working at the regional passport office in Lucknow and four PSKs under its jurisdiction.”
This is the third round of protest by the employees who are demanding cadre review; implementation of MoU with the department of posts; promotion in all grades; immediate release of request transfer and proper facilities at the PSKs besides others.

The process for proper dialogue hasn’t been initialized by the authorities, despite employees being on protest since July 29.
