Puducherry: The members of All India Bank Officers Association have resorted to a strike to push for their various demands which has affected the banking operations in the city on Friday.
Their main demand is to drop the merger of nationalized banks and the rural banks.
400 officers from 140 bank branches participated in the agitation on Friday.
