Sunil Jakhar corners his own party on Indira Gandhi's death anniversary, see what he tweeted

Taking a dig at his own party, former President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Sunil Jakhar posted a tweet using an advertisement featuring “Captain Amarinder”.

On Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary today, Sunil Jakhar poked the present Punjab Government and shared an advertisement featuring former Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh.



Last year on Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi death anniversary Punjab Government had run an advertisement paying rich tributes to her and remembering her work and ethics. However, there’s has been no such advertisement or event planned by Congress government in Punjab this year to pay tributes to former PM.



Taking a dig at his own party, former President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Sunil Jakhar posted a tweet using an advertisement featuring “Captain Amarinder”.



He also opposed the Bhartiya Janta Party and said that BJP is trying to erase the Iron Lady of India from history.



He took to Twitter on Sunday to share his reaction to this development and wrote, “I can understand BJP trying to erase 'Iron Lady of India' from history but don’t we still have a Congress Government in Punjab”.



“I know Capt Saab won’t mind my using this PB Govt’s ad from last year, as none appeared today”, he added.

 



Meanwhile, Sunil Jakhar tweet once again indicates that the tussle in Punjab Congress is far from over. The party leaders are still stand divided and having differences  with each other over one or the another issue.



Besides, on the day when Punjab CM was in Delhi for a meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Jakhar tweeted “Punjab CM in Delhi, Delhi CM in Punjab, yet again ! Must say, at least one of them has got his timing right”.

He two days back also posted a cryptic tweet saying, “Or is it a case of once burned twice shy-in light of certain appointment two days ago”.
