Bollywood Actor turned politician from Gurdaspur Sunny Deol on Wednesday announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus and is in self-isolation now. He took to Twitter to inform his fans and followers about the news.
He wrote, “I got myself tested for corona and my report is positive. I am in isolation and my health is fine. I request all those who came in contact with me recently to get yourself tested and stay in isolation."

According to a statement from his team, Sunny got himself tested in Manali, Himachal Pradesh before returning to Mumbai.
"He has been tested positive but is asymptomatic and feeling alright. He would be under home quarantine in Manali till he recovers completely. He is following all the instructions given by the authorities and taking necessary precautions," the statement further read.
Sunny, 64 had recently undergone a shoulder surgery last month and visited Manali a few days back to recover from the surgery.

On Wednesday morning, Sunny Deol shared on his Facebook page that his health is fine now.
He has requested the people who came in contact with him recently to get themselves tested for Covid.
Recently, veteran actor Dharmendra announced that Deol family will again be seen together in the sequel of their 2007 film Apne which will star his grandson, Karan Deol.
