Sunny Leone’s ‘Madhuban mein Radhika’ song lands in controversy; Priests demand ban on it

Actress Sunny Leone’s latest number ‘Madhuban mein Radhika’ is receiving a lot of negative remarks due to some scenes in it. Even though Sunny has shown some great dance moves in the song, the saints of Mathura are demanding a ban on the song due to some obscene scenes in it. Mathura priests said that this song and Sunny’s dance has hurt their religious sentiments.

The song of Sunny has been released on 22nd December. The song had originally been sung by Mohammed Rafi for the 1960 film Kohinoor, the new version is sung by singers Kanika Kapoor and Arindam Chakraborty.  Earlier, Kanika Kapoor sang Baby Doll song for Sunny Leone and they rocked the nation together. This song is choreographed by Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Acharya.

Saint Naval Giri Maharaj said, “The government must take an action against this song. If the government does not take action against the actress and does not ban the video album, then we will go to court.”

Akhil Bhartiya Tirth Purohit Mahasabha’s national president Mahesh Pathak said that the song is presented in a derogatory manner.

Not only Mathura’s priests, even Netizens, also do not like the song. They are also demanding a ban on the song for hurting religious sentiments. Several YouTube commenters say that the song is against Hindu Devi Radhe Ma, and mocks the Hindu religion.
