On searching Supreme Court YouTube Channel, the video streaming platform showcased a US-based company's page along with videos about it. Supreme Court YouTube channel which appeared to be hacked showcased one video of US-based company Ripple. Hackers showcased a video titled 'Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds To The SEC's $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION' on SC's YouTube Channel.
As per Ripples WIKI page, it is a real-time gross settlement system, currency exchange and remittance network that is open to financial institutions worldwide and was created by Ripple Labs Inc., a US-based technology company
For the unversed, a few years ago, the Supreme Court of India made a landmark decision to livestream the proceedings of important cases before the Constitution Bench. The Court acknowledged that live streaming of judicial proceedings is part of the fundamental right to access justice, guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution. The top court's livestreams include hearings on cases of national importance, such as disputes on the interpretation of the Constitution, issues affecting civil rights, electoral reforms, and other matters of public interest.
