Suresh Kumar, Chief Principal Secretary (CPS) to Punjab Chief Minister, has rejoined his official work-place in the Secretariat today.
Kumar was working from home or from Punjab Bhavan.
Notably, on July 20, he had tendered his resignation and sent his staff home from his office in Punjab Bhavan followed by the return of official vehicles.
However, on July 22, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder invited him to his residence, where the CM is believed to have told him not to resign and continue as his CPS.
