"Sushant Singh Rajput's case is of low-priority for the CBI": Lawyer Vikas Singh

Talking to a media channel, Vikas Singh said that initially, Sushant's family did not want to ask for the CBI Inquiry as the agency had already many big cases pending.

Vikas-Singh Sushant-Singh-Rajput Sushant-Case-Low-Priority

While the entire nation is seeking justice for Sushant and seeing towards the CBI that the agency will come with a conclusive report that what led to Sushant's death, lawyer Vikas Singh has slammed the CBI yet again. Talking to India Today, Vikas Singh said that initially, Sushant's family did not want to ask for the CBI Inquiry as the agency had already many big cases pending. They had a fear that if Sushant's case will be transferred to the agency then it will be lost somewhere.

However, when the Mumbai Police did not take action, then the family lodged an FIR in Patna but they were also not co-operated by the Mumbai Police. Therefore with no hope left, Sushant's family demanded the CBI investigation.

But unfortunately, the same fear is turning into a reality as Sushant's case has become a matter of less-priority for the agency. On being revealed that the CBI SIT team is in Delhi from the past 2 weeks and there are no meetings taking place with the AIIMS team, then Vikas Singh said that for the CBI Sushant's case has now become a matter of less-priority.

Vikas also said that Sushant's case is a very big case as it concerns the next generation of the country. He also said that the narco case will only affect Sushant's case when it will be revealed that Sushant was administered drugs without his knowledge or consent.

on the other hand, Satish Maneshinde refuted this allegation on the CBI and said that before the Supreme Court judgment even came the CBI formed SIT for Sushant's case. So, I don't think Sushant's case is of low-priority for the CBI as their entire team was stationed here in Mumbai.

Interestingly, the CBI has released their official statement after continuous criticism over the delay of the case
