Actress Rhea Chakraborty has requested Mumbai Police to provide protection to her and her family, saying there is a threat to their lives.
Rhea shared a couple of videos on Instagram on Thursday to underline her claim. In the first, her father is mobbed by news reporters in their building compound. The second video has the building watchman talking about how he was roughed up and injured by the media when he tried to stop them.
Interestingly, the Mumbai Police gave protection to Rhea Chakraborty and rescued her father Indrajit Chakraborty from the press.
Now, responses have come from Sushant's family on Rhea Chakraborty's protection. Sushant niece Mallika Singh shared a photo of Sushant's sister Meetu when she arrived at the ED Office for questioning. The media also mobbed her however, there was no police who rescued her. Mallika on her twitter wrote, "This is my aunt. She has a little daughter that had to see this."
On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti slammed Rajdeep Sardesai for giving Rhea Chakraborty who is a prime suspect a platform to insult Sushant. Shweta wrote, "Aaj Tak is interviewing Rhea Chakraborty for 2 hours and planning to air that interview on a national platform. If that happens it will be an utter disgrace and slap on the face of 130 Crore Indians fighting for justice of my Brother. #ArrestRheaChakroborty."
She also said, "Government of India needs to see to it that a prime accused should not be moving around giving interviews and doing publicity stunts!!!"
"And the interviewer in no other than Rajdeep Sardesai who was calling my brother as a mediocre actor!! The Prime Accused should be taken under custodial interrogation immediately!! It’s my request to my extended family to block this interview," added Shweta.
