Sushant Singh Rajput's death anniversary: Ankita Lokhande shares glimpses from Havan at her home

On the first anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Ankita Lokhande, who worked with him in Pavitra Rishta, held a havan for him. On her social media account, she posted a video of the same.

The actress appears to have performed the havan at home with her family, with holy fire and puja items.She also shares some memories with Sushant Singh Rajput.

She curated a special video, which had moments they spent together - from their Pavitra Rishta days to vacations and events they attended together. Adding a broken heart emoji, Ankita Lokhande wrote: "14 June. This was our journey! Phir milenge chalte chalte." 

She shared glimpses of the prayer set-up on her Instagram stories.

It was only a few days ago that Ankita had announced a break from social media on her Instagram account. She had posted, "It's not a goodbye, it's a see you later.”

She was slammed by fans of SSR for the same. He had written, "Ankita knows that SSR's death anniversary is round the corner, bahut publicity pa liya SSR ke naam pe! So let's go underground and come back later. #hypocrite @lokhandeankita.”

Ankita, on the other hand, posted a few images from her vacation with boyfriend Vicky Jain on her Instagram account yesterday (June 13), signalling her return to the social media platform.

Ankita and Sushant were each other's first co-stars in the television serial Pavitra Rishta. They were together for six years until breaking up in 2016.

Pavitra Rishta celebrated its 12th anniversary in June, since it originally aired on television.

Ankita had shared a cake with fans earlier this month, saying that the show would be incomplete without Sushant and that only he could be Archana's Manav. She praised Ekta, the show's producer, as well as all of her co-stars, particularly Hiten Tejwani, who had replaced Sushant.

Sushant began dating Rhea Chakraborty after his breakup with Ankita Lokhande. Days before the actor's death, the two actors were in a live-in relationship. On June 8, Rhea returned to her parents' house.

The Central Bureau of Investigation is looking into Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
