In a massive development, suspended CISF personnel Kulwinder Kaur on Friday was arrested for slapping Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport. On Thursday, Kangana Ranaut reached at Chandiagrh Airport to catch a flight to Delhi when Kulwinder Kaur slapped her in the checking area. Kulwinder Kaur's anger was reportedly triggered by the previous remarks from Kangana when she had said that women sitting in farmers protest just for the sake of Rs 100. Kulwinder Kaur in a viral video was heard saying that her mother was also sitting at the farmers protest.
As per reports, a police case was filed against the accused constable, Kulwinder Kaur on Thursday evening after her suspension. "She gave a statement... that farmers are sitting there for Rs 100. Will she go and sit there? My mother was sitting there and protesting when she gave this statement...," Kulwinder was heard saying, referring to the farmers' protest in 2020 against the three farm laws passed by the Centre.
Kulwinder Kaur to get a plethora of rewards
After the incident, a Chandigarh-based businessman Shivraj Singh Bains announced in his video that he will give Rs 1 lakh reward to Kulwinder Kaur. Bains in his video said, "Our sister Kulwinder Kaur has slapped Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport, I salute this girl from my heart for saving Punjabi and Punjabiyat and give her one lakh rupees as a reward."
Thereafter, Punjab Secretary of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rajewal, Paramdeep Singh Bedwan, and Mohali Secretary Kiranpal Singh announced that they will honor the constable with a gold medal.
Not only this, but former Assistant Attorney General of the Supreme Court Davinder Pratap Singh said, "I have come to know about the Chandigarh incident through the media. In which a woman Kulwinder Kaur has slapped Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut. In any case, in these circumstances, I want to give my services to Kulwinder Kaur. If my sister Kulwinder Kaur needs any kind of help from me in a legal way, then I want to provide services. My sources have revealed that Kulwinder Kaur is from a farmer family and I want to give a message to this society that I am also from a farmer family. In these circumstances, if my sister needs my help then she can contact me."
