Uttar Pradesh has reported an appalling incident, where a husband beheaded his wife over suspicion of infidelity on Friday. The heinous incident took place in the Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The accused after beheading his wife approached the police station with severed head to surrender himself.
The accused has been identified as Chinnar Yadav. According to the police, he had a quarrel with his 35-year-old wife Vimla at around 7.30 am in their Netanagar house.
Then suddenly agitated Chinnar picked up a sharp-edged weapon and chopped off his wife's head. He then carried it to the Baberu Police Station and surrendered himself. This incident was later confirmed to the media by Superintendent of Police, Mahendra Pratap Singh Chauhan.

Also, a video of the incident, which shows the accused walking freely on road holding his wife's head is doing rounds on the internet, police added.
The police have detained the accused and have also recovered the weapon used for murder from the spot. The victim's body has been sent for the autopsy.
