A major accident occurred near Guru Nanak Mission Chowk in Jalandhar, Punjab, where two vehicles collided with great force. The impact was so severe that one of the vehicles overturned on the road.
According to eyewitnesses, a Scorpio SUV carrying 3 to 4 young men was speeding when it attempted to overtake a Creta vehicle ahead of it. During the maneuver, the Scorpio struck the side of the Creta, causing the SUV to lose control. As a result, the Scorpio flipped over three times on the road.
Fortunately, no other vehicles were passing by at the time of the accident, or the situation could have turned even more tragic. The occupants of the Creta narrowly escaped unharmed.
The incident took place around 11:30 PM. Shockingly, even by morning, no police personnel had reached the scene, and the overturned Scorpio remained on the road, raising questions about the response time of local authorities.
