Netflix’s hit series Sweet Tooth is returning for its second season on April 27th, 2023. Based on the graphic novels by Jeff Lemire, the post-apocalyptic show takes place in a world where hybrid children with human and animal characteristics have started to appear following a deadly pandemic. The first season concluded in 2021 and left fans eagerly anticipating the next installment.

In season 2, a deadly new wave of the pandemic threatens the hybrid children, who are held captive by General Abbot and the Last Men. Abbot is using the children to find a cure, with the help of Dr. Aditya Singh, who is trying to save his infected wife, Rani. Gus, the little boy with antlers, is faced with a difficult decision: help Dr. Singh and begin a dark journey into his origins and his mother’s role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble or risk losing his friends to Abbot’s experiments.

Outside the Preserve, Tommy Jepperd and Aimee Eden team up to break the hybrids free, but their partnership is tested as Jepperd’s secrets come to light.
