Delhi Riots accused Tahir Hussain surrenders in Delhi Court, says IB Officer's death sad

Prior to his surrender, Tahir claimed that he has been framed for the murder. He said that he was innocent and a riot victim himself.

Prime accused of the murder of Intelligence Bureau Officer Ankit Sharma has surrendered himself before Delhi court. Hussain was absconding after he was linked to the murder of IB Officer. 

Prior to his surrender, Tahir claimed that he has been framed for the murder. He said that he was innocent and a riot victim himself. "My family and I ran away from rioters and the police were also informed about it. On February 24, I left with my family in the presence of police. The police took possession of the building," he was quoted by a news organization.

On the murder of Intelligence Bureau staffer, Tahir said Ankit Sharma losing life in Delhi violence is sad. Tahir has been booked in the murder case amid violence in northeast Delhi. Earlier on Tuesday, his anticipatory bail was rejected. Ankit's father had filed a complaint against Tahir who had quashed all the charges upon him
