Renowned Taiwanese actor-singer Jam Hsiao is all set to tie the knot very soon with a very unexpected bride. He announced on his social media handles that he got engaged to his manager since his official debut, Summer Lin, who is 50 meanwhile the singer is 36 on 26th June. The couple who have been in love with each other for the last 16 years kept their rumored relationship under wraps till the announcement even from their family members and close friends, thus finally coming clean about the long-standing rumors. The happy news coincided with Summer's 50th birthday, making it even more special for the couple who proved that age is just a number when it comes to love.

The singer said in his official Instagram post “I know this is sudden, but I want everyone to know that I am very happy, I really am very happy. “I have music, basketball, good friends, a loving family, and my supporters, I have a lot. Now, I have love, a love that is true and complete… I hope to get your blessing.” “Yes, I have officially bid farewell to singlehood. I will treasure and love her well,” he added. The singer proposed to Summer on 26 June and heard the word he wished the most for.

The singer, who was dressed in a tuxedo in the engagement video shared by his agency, said while tearing up: “These past 16 years, we have been dating secretly, even our best friends and closest family members have never heard them confirm their relationship. From now on, I want to let the whole world know that Mama (Summer) you are no longer alone. I want to share your burden with you, I hope I did not make you wait too long for this day.” The proposal was graced by many celebrity friends, including Jay Chou and wife, Hannah Quinlivan, as well as Singaporean actress Yvonne Lim.

On the professional front, the singer-actor is best known for his debut film The Killer Who Never Kills released in 2011 for which won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Performer for his performance and his fourth album It's All About Love released in 2013 which won him Best Male Vocalist at 24th Golden Melody Awards. Hsiao hopes to make Lin his inspiration to work even harder to achieve even more success in his already prolific career.
