In an absolute shocker coming from Punjab, a group of miscreants vandalised a church in Punjab's Tarn Taran igniting communal tensions in the region. The Punjab Tarn Taran church vandalism incident came as a massive shock as the entire incident was caught on CCTV camera. The church vandalism Tarn Taran video was filmed on CCTV, in which a group of miscreants was seen not only destroying the church premises but also mutilating Lord Jesus and Mother Merry statues. The miscreants also set ablaze the Pastor's car which was parked inside the church premises. The shocking incident took place at Tarn Taran's Thakarpur village. Now, the Tran Taran church attack video is doing rounds on social media at a time when the region is going through communal tensions.

At first, he tried to destroy the statue with his bare hands, however, when was not able to do it, he brought a rod from nearby and then started hammering the statue.The Tarn Taran church CCTV footage became even more shocking when the man was caught taking away the destroyed head of Lord Jesus and Mother Merry's statue.

For the unversed, the Tarn Taran church attack incident is an outbreak of multiple events. Reportedly, 4 unidentified people entered the church and tied the guard’s arm at a gunpoint and also tied his mother on the first floor of the church.The Tarn Taran church vandalism incident took place after the Akal Takht Jathedar, head of the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs, issued a statement against 'forced conversions' of Sikhs by Christian missionaries. Notably, two days back Nihang Sikhs had also protested against the issue recently. Not only this, but reports of clashes were also reported between Nihang Sikhs and Christians. On Sunday, the ongoing program of Christians in Jandiala Guru’s village Dandua was stopped by the Nihangs. As a result, a case was registered against 150 Nihangs after this incident as they destroyed everything in the program.

The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Harprit Singh also issued a statement on Tuesday opposing the government to register the case against Nihangs. He said, “the Christian priests are misleading Hindus and Sikhs by hypocrisy and getting them converted. Many times, Nihangs complained about this, but the government did not listen to them.”

On the church attack incident, SSP RS Dhillon said, "Few notorious elements tried to vandalise idol of Jesus & set ablaze a car at Chruch in Patti. We're investigating the matter and have vital clues. There were 4 people, we are behind the culprits. We hope to solve it soon. FIR has been lodged."
