The criminal activities in Punjab do not seem to have an end. Almost every day a news surges up that raises the compulsion to think about whether the state has remained a safe place or not.
An incident from Tarn Taran has come to the fore, where a youth became the victim of firing by miscreants. Reportedly, the victim was on his way to meet his sister when an Innova car came and surrounded his bike. The accused took out the pistol and fired as the victim after which all fled from the scene. The victim has been identified as Kanav Vadera. Kanav informed that total 4 people were present in the car.
Kanav got seriously injured as the bullet hit his chest. Post this, he was admitted to the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. On the basis of the statement by the victim, a case has been registered against the 4 miscreants. Out of the 4 accused, one is identified as Sahi and all 4 of them are residents of Tarn Taran.
The ACP who is looking after the case, Kanwalpreet Singh stated that the statement of the victim has been recorded and a case has also been lodged against the 4 accused. He further assured that a search operation to find all the miscreants has started and they will be in the custody soon.
Reportedly, it seems like the case is of old enmity as the victim himself informed that he had an argument with Sahil and since then, he has been trying to attack him.
