With a view to sensitising teachers and students aboutthe utility of Punjab Educare App for accomplishing " Mission ShatPratishat", the District Education Officer(SE), Jagjit Singh and DeputyDistrict Education Officer(SE), Amrik Singh have come forward with aninnovative idea. They have started a training programme for the school teachersto equip them with requisite technical knowhow to use Smart Classrooms in theschool for operating Punjab Educare App on LED projectors.
Younes Khokhar, District Mentor( Computer Faculty) hasprepared a presentation depicting steps to download Punjab Educare App on smartphones as well as to connect it with the LED Projectors in the existing SmartClassrooms in government schools. The ICT wing of the district educationdepartment has organised a special training programme in as many as 106 highand senior secondary schools. Under this programme, the Computer Teachersimparted training to the teachers in their respective schools.
Lakhwinder Singh, Assistant District Mentor ( ComputerFaculty), said that all the Computer Teachers of the district had made theircontribution in imparting training to the teachers. In next phase, virtualtraining workshop for the teachers of middle schools would be organisedshortly.
District Education Officer(Secondary), Jagjit Singh exhorted theschool teachers to make the students aware about the contents like revisedsyllabus, simplified learning material, Question Banks, Model Test Papers,Practice Sheets, Revision Papers and latest updates for preparing for theensuing Board Examinations in a well planned manner.
