While Rinku Singh now plays for KKR in the IPL and represents Team India on an international level, his father continues to deliver LPG gas cylinders in Uttar Pradesh. Now, Rinku Singh's father video is going viral on social media and fans have been hailing the Team India cricketer's 'hardworking' family.
In the viral video, Rinku Singh's father Khanchandra Singh was seen delivering LPG Gas Cylinders in his hometown of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Donning a black hoodie, Khanchandra Singh can be seen along with a tempo carrying LPGs. It is pertinent to mention here that in one of his interviews, Rinku Singh revealed that his father continues to deliver LPG cylinders despite his request to him to rest.
"I told my father to relax now as we have enough for him not to haul cylinders, but he still does it and loves his job. I understand his part also because he will get bored if he sits at home. If someone has worked all his life, it is difficult to tell him to stop unless he wants it," Rinku Singh was quoted as saying.
Rinku is famously known for his five back-to-back sixes that he hit in the last over that helped KKR to emerge victorious in a match against Gujarat Titans (GT) in a league stage fixture of the 2023 season. In this match, Rinku Singh successfully chased down 29 runs in a single over. This marked the highest-ever chase in the last over in the IPL tournament's history. Additionally, his performance has been consistent even in domestic cricket.
