Telangana Cop trains recruits on the tunes of Mohammad Rafi's Dhal Gaya Din. Video viral

Rafi said, " I did so to help recruits get over homesickness and physical duress."

A video of Telangana Police Assistant Sub-Inspector is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, ASI can be seen training the recruits for a drill practice in a unique and brilliant way. ASI can be heard singing an iconic song of Mohammad Rafi during the session. 

Incidentally, the name of ASI is Mohammad Rafi from Telangana State Special Protection Force. It shows him conducting physical training of recruits on the tunes created by the legendary singer Mohammed Rafi. He can be heard singing Dhal Gaya Din from the 1970 movie Humjoli.

A part of the clip was also shared by the official handle of the Indian Police Service Association on Twitter. They captioned it, "Training Tunes By Rafi. ASI Md Rafi from Telangana State Special Protection Force has more in common with the legendary singer than just his name. ASI Rafi brings recruits out of homesickness & physical duress by singing songs while conducting physical drills (sic)."


When asked about his intentions on doing so Rafi said, " I did so to help recruits get over homesickness and physical duress."

The video immediately went viral after posting. So far it garnered over 88.1k views on Twitter.
