Amidst a debate on the legalization of guns, gun violence is wreaking havoc in America. Nowadays not even a single day when America does not report an incident of shooting. Now, the gun violence reached to a post-prom party in Texas where 9 teenagers were injured in a shooting. As per US media reports, 9 teenagers were injured in a shootout that took place after a post-prom party in Texas on Sunday morning. As per initial reports, Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff's Office responded to an emergency call from a home on County Road 263 about multiple shots being fired. To be precise, the post-prom shooting took place at a home in north Jasper County in southeastern Texas.
As per reports, in the Texas post-prom party shooting, a total of 9 teenagers were found with gunshot wounds, however, they were not life-threatening. The injured teenagers were taken to a nearby hospital as soon as possible by the authorities for further treatment. Now, the question arises who started shooting at the Texas post-prom party? Well, Jasper County Sheriff's office has refused to reveal more information in the latest shootout. However, the authorities are currently investigating and have stated that the motive of the shooting is not clear at the moment. Meanwhile, the investigators are questioning certain people of interest, however, not even a single name has been disclosed.

Shootout at 'Sweet-16' birthday party
It is pertinent to mention here that last week on Saturday, a shootout took place at a teen birthday party in Alabama in which at least 4 people died. It was reported that, the shooting occurred at a 'Sweet 16 party' at a dance studio in Dadeville, a small town northeast of the state capital Montgomery, with at least 20 people shot. While the investigation is still going on of Alabama shooting, Police seemed puzzled of the fact that what led to shooting at the Sweet 16 birthday party. Amidst the investigation, a video had also went viral in which two teenagers were seen flaunting and waving guns from the party. However, it was not confirmed whether they were flaunting guns before the incident or after the shootout.
