The controversial Supertech emerald project of Noida-based Twin Tower has been demolished today as scheduled.

A total of 3700 KG of explosives were used to raze the luxurious towers in a meager 9 seconds the project of which was on for over months after the apex court order.

The SC termed the construction of the building as illegal and against the terms of the agreement as marked before the construction started.

Based on the inputs by the officials associated with the demolition tasks the actual volume of the debris of the towers Apex (32 stories) and Ceyane (29 stories) is expected to leave behind 35,000 cubic meters which will take the officials around 3 months to clear the entire site.

The court in its order even mentioned clearly that the buyers of the flats must be duly paid back the hard-earned amount they have invested in buying the homes in this project.
