The fate of 85-year-old Gurudev Singh, who drove a rickshaw to make ends meet, has taken a turn for the better. He could never have imagined that his life would suddenly take such a turn at his age. Gurudev Singh won a bumper lottery worth 25 million rupees on the occasion of Baisakhi.

Gurudev Singh, a resident of Moga district, Punjab, had been driving a rickshaw to make a living. In his real life, Gurudev Singh would consider himself a rickshaw driver, but he was also known for filling potholes on the roads when there were no passengers to ferry. He would also plant trees and water them if needed.

Gurudev Singh has four sons and a daughter, all of whom are married. He lives in Lohgarh village, which is about 32 kilometers away from Moga city. He said that he had bought lottery tickets many times before, but this time he won.

He also said that he had bought the winning ticket from an agent named Raj Kumar. The lottery company representatives have already contacted him and have started the process to transfer the prize money to his account.
