The Kashmir Files continues to rule over the box office ever since its release and getting widely praised by almost all sections of society. The Kashmir Files which is based on the genocide of the Kashmiri Hindus and the mass exodus spills out the heart-wrenching truth which was buried in the grave of the past. Directed by National Award Winning director Vivek Agnihotri, The Kashmir Files has also forced the politicians of India to acknowledge and talk about the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus which took place in 1990. However, there are few people who believe The Kashmir Files is a propaganda film.

Bollywood actor and politician Prakash Raj on Friday shared a video of The Kashmir Files screening on his Twitter handle. Sharing the video on his Twitter handle, Prakash Raj called The Kashmir Files a propaganda movie that is sowing the seeds of hatred and inflicting wounds. In the viral video which was shared by Prakash Raj after the screening of The Kashmir Files, a man was seen asking the Hindus to marry Muslim women in order to control their population which is totally wrong.

"#kashmirifiles this propaganda film … is it healing wounds or sowing seeds of hatred and inflicting wounds #Justasking (SIC)," wrote Prakash Raj.

It is pertinent to mention here that there were PILs failed in multiple courts asking for restraint on the release of The Kashmir Files. Petitioners had asked the court to stop the screening of the movies as it could spread communal hatred. However, the courts of India declined to stop the release of The Kashmir Files. Notably, when the whole world is appreciating Vivek Agnihotri and his team for coming up with raw truth and not a sanitised movie on the genocide of the Kashmiri Hindus, a section of people are calling it a propaganda movie ignoring the fact that the Kashmiri Hindus are still waiting for justice.
