Film director and producer Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' was ready to release today, but it seems that the film will have to wait a little longer. The Jammu court has ordered a stay on the release of the film.

The court has ordered a stay on the release of the film 'The Kashmir Files' while delivering its verdict on a petition by Shalini Khanna, wife of the late Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna of the Indian Air Force. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Shalini makes a claim that an attempt has been made to portray her husband's role in the film in a wrong way.

Shalini saw it at the special screening of the film on 4 March. According to the report, Shalini says that she had a conversation with the makers of the film regarding this issue. However, the filmmakers ignored her objection and did not listen to her. When Shalini did not get any response from the makers, she took the help of the court to resolve the issue.

The order was given to the makers of the film to remove the scenes related to Ravi Khanna
The court, while staying the release of the film, said in its order that the scenes depicted in the trailer of the film 'The Kashmir Files' about the petitioner's husband and martyr Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna are directed to be removed immediately.

The Kashmir Files is released on 11 March 2022, in which the facts shown about martyr Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna are unrelated.
Jammu's Additional District Judge Deepak Sethi in his order said that given the facts.

The respondent is restrained using a temporary injunction from showing the scenes relating to the martyr Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna, the husband of the petitioner, in the film The Kashmir Files.

Ravi Khanna was martyred during an incident on January 25, 1990. Ravi Khanna was one of the 4 Indian Air Force officers who were martyred in the shootout in Srinagar. It is alleged that these officers of the Indian Air Force died in the firing of the group, which was led by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Chief Yasin Malik.

'The Kashmir Files' includes many artists like Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Pallavi Joshi. The story of this film has been written by Vivek Agnihotri and he has also directed it. The story of the film is based on the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits.
