Witnessing BTS's global success is both awe-inspiring and devilishly satisfying, as everyone is forced to take note. It's eye-opening to see exactly how influential BTS is and how one wants BTS but BTS doesn't need them if the Grammys 2021 is any indication. All of this is due to their exceptional musical abilities as well as the unique charms of each of the band members. There is no competition when it comes to the septet's songs!

Mic Drop, one of BTS's epic songs, was recently trending on Twitter, thanks to its inclusion in the date announcement teaser for The Mitchells vs. The Machines. Abbi Jacobson, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Michael Rianda (also the director), Eric Andre, and Olivia Colman lend their voices to the animated film. In terms of plot, The Mitchells vs. The Machines follows Katie Mitchell (Jacobson) and her family as they drive her to her dream film school rather than flying her there.

However, a tech revolt pushes the Mitchell family to work through their differences and save the planet together, rather than bonding for one last time on their family road trip. While Olivia portrays PAL, a virtual assistant, Eric portrays Dr. Mark Bowman, a scientist and the founder of PAL Labs, and Blake portrays a sleek PAL Labs robot. John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Conan O'Brien, Fred Armisen, Beck Bennett, Jay Pharoah, Sasheer Zamata, Charlyne Yi, Elle Mills, Alex Hirsch, and Griffin McElroy lend their voices to The Mitchells vs. The Machines.

Katie, her mother Linda Mitchell (Rudolph), and younger brother Aaron Mitchell (Rianda) are seen on their phones in The Mitchells vs. The Machines date announcement teaser, while Katie's father Rick Mitchell (McBride) looks at them with a defeated smile. However, three drones appear out of nowhere and pursue Rick as he flees for his life; Katie, Linda, and Aaron remain completely oblivious, engrossed in their phones. Monchi (Doug the Pug), the Mitchell family's adorable pug, also makes an appearance. And what's the music in the background? Of course, there'll be a Mic Drop!

Furthermore, director Michael Rianda of The Mitchells vs. The Machines announced on Twitter that he was a member of ARMY, hinting that fans can expect more Mic Drop in his upcoming film. Michael tweeted ecstatically, "I regularly dance-jog to BTS- so love seeing the ARMY hyped about the music! MIC Drop owns and there's even more of it coming soon!".
