Helmed by two-time National Award-winning director Vivek Agnihotri, The Vaccine War was released in theaters on September 28, 2023, and in no time, it became the talking point among fans on social media. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Pallavi Joshi, The Vaccine War is a true story that chronicles how Bharat Biotech along with the help of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and National Institute of Virology, made indigenous COVID-19 vaccine COVAXIN (BBV152). The Vaccine War is based on a book by the then Director General of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Balram Bhargava, the man at the center of the Covid scientific rollercoaster. Since the movie has been released in theaters, The Vaccine War review is finally coming out on social media with fans and film critics hailing Vivek Agnihotri for bringing such content of which the Indian audience will be proud.

Talking about The Vaccine War movie review, veteran film critic Taran Adarsh took to his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter and gave Agnihotri's movie 4 out of 5 stars. Taran Adarsh in his detailed post about The Vaccine War review wrote, "#TheVaccineWar is an important film that *should* be watched by one and all… It’s enlightening and inspiring, both… The ‘heroes’ here are our scientists and #VivekAgnihotri brilliantly showcases their sacrifices and strengths in those 2.40 hours… DON’T MISS IT! #TheVaccineWarReview"

"Most importantly, #TheVaccineWar celebrates woman power with utmost honesty and sincerity… The chronology of events, the countering of false narratives, the struggles and obstacles that the scientists encounter and the eventual triumph… #TheVaccineWar encompasses it all seamlessly, without dramatising the goings-on or going overboard.

Although #TheVaccineWar has several poignant moments, I’d like to single out the press conference towards the penultimate stages. Deserves a standing ovation… And it’s a delight to watch #NanaPatekar on the big screen after a hiatus. Truly deserves the prestigious #NationalAward for this act. And so do #PallaviJoshi and #RaimaSen."
