‘The Kashmir Files’ filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has announced his latest project in the follow-up to his movie dedicated to the plight of Kashmiri Pandits. Titled ‘The Vaccine War’ the new project of the controversial filmmaker will be produced by his wife Pallavi Joshi who has also appeared in some of his top projects over the years.

However, there are no further details available about the plot so far, although he did share some of the posters from the movie informing that the movie will be released in a total of 11 languages.

Announcing his latest project through his tweet, Agnihotri wrote, “Presenting ‘THE VACCINE WAR’ – an incredible true story of a war that you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage & great Indian values. It will release on Independence Day, 2023. In 11 languages.”

The poster shows a vaccine vial that has the title printed on it, where the tagline says, “A war you didn’t know you fought. And won.” The filmmaker will reunite with Abhishek Aggarwal who has also produced Kashmir Files.

Based on the rumors, ‘The Vaccine War’ is based on India’s contribution towards the race to produce vaccines against the century’s biggest catastrophe. The release of the poster comes days after Agnihotri tweeted about India’s battle in the vaccine run.

His tweet read, “When COVID came, India had nothing to fight. We were blackmailed & left alone to die by the superpowers of medical infra. But our scientists, without resources, fought back like their dharma. We made the fastest & the safest vaccine, created an infra every Indian can be proud of.”

Reportedly, Agnihotri is also looking forward to presiding over the entire shoot in Lucknow. The movie is going to be enthralling how will it picture India’s battle against the invisible enemy that brought the entire world to its knees?
