An adorable video of an elephant calf drinking milk from feeding bottle is doing rounds on internet. The 39-second video was shared by Sheldrick Wildlife on Twitter and has already been viewed over 12, 000 times so far.
In the video, Maktao, the elephant calf, followed one of the keepers at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to a stable of sorts. Excited about his drink, the keeper held a big feeding bottle as the calf drank milk from it to his heart's content.
"Maktao is on a mission to get back quickly for one of two bottles of milk. Orphans at our nursery sleep in stockades to offer warmth and protection during the night, and explore the protected forest by day with their keepers," Sheldrick Wildlife said in the caption of its post.
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust runs an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program in Kenya.
