
After the JamesAnderson and Jasprit Bumrah saga at the end of Day 3, a new verbal fight wascaught on stump mic between the English bowler and Indian skipper Virat Kohli atLord's in London.
Anderson and Bumrahwere seen having a dispute after the veteran bowler faced bouncers whilebatting. However, while Kohli and Anderson had a spat, the Indiancaptain reminded him about his fight with Bumrah.
According to what washeard on the stump mic, Kohli told Anderson, "You are swearing at me? Likeyou did to Bumrah?. This isn't your f**king backyard."
After the fifthdelivery was bowled, the India captain continued to have a go at Andersonsaying, “chirp chirp chirp. This is what old age makes you.”
The video of thealtercation between the two went viral on social media.
The incident tookplace in the 17th over of India’s second innings when Anderson was deliveringhis ninth over of the day. After the fourth ball of the over, Kohli pointed outthat the England pacer was running on the pitch after which Anderson had a goat him as well. The verbal spat between the two continued after the nextdelivery as well and stopped only because the pacer’s spell ended.
As for the clash,India have lost their three main players - Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and ViratKohli - before lunch break. The visitors only scored 56 and lost three wicketsand they have Cheteshwar Pujara and Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane at thecrease.
