After the James Anderson and Jasprit Bumrah saga at the end of Day 3, a new verbal fight was caught on stump mic between the English bowler and Indian skipper Virat Kohli at Lord's in London.

Anderson and Bumrah were seen having a dispute after the veteran bowler faced bouncers while batting. However, while Kohli and Anderson had a spat, the Indian captain reminded him about his fight with Bumrah.

According to what was heard on the stump mic, Kohli told Anderson, "You are swearing at me? Like you did to Bumrah?. This isn't your f**king backyard."

After the fifth delivery was bowled, the India captain continued to have a go at Anderson saying, “chirp chirp chirp. This is what old age makes you.”

The video of the altercation between the two went viral on social media.

The incident took place in the 17th over of India’s second innings when Anderson was delivering his ninth over of the day. After the fourth ball of the over, Kohli pointed out that the England pacer was running on the pitch after which Anderson had a go at him as well. The verbal spat between the two continued after the next delivery as well and stopped only because the pacer’s spell ended.

As for the clash, India have lost their three main players - Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli - before lunch break. The visitors only scored 56 and lost three wickets and they have Cheteshwar Pujara and Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane at the crease.
