Indian TikTok users have collectively agreed and completely decided to quit the video app forever. The users on 3rd March stated that they are going to delete their TikTok accounts and uninstall the app forever from their phones. The trend to delete TikTok has suddenly gone viral and many can be seen taking part in the same because of the adverse effects that it has on people’s minds.

On 3rd March 2023, India witnessed a collective outrage against the TikTok app which became the most downloaded app on 2018 surpassing Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat. Talking about the reason why this sudden anger against TikTok has come out, is that people want to improve their quality of life and get out of the core-core on TikTok. Core-core is basically a vicious circle where you start scrolling certain videos and keep on going to do the same for 3-4 hours continuously without stopping anytime soon.

The reason why people have decided to quit TikTok is that scrolling phones for several hours just to pass time and without any purpose is not good. It not only wastes your time but also has bad effect on your mind and health. TikTok app allows people to mindlessly consume everything on social media and it’s rotting their brains.

Reacting to the TikTok Quitting trend one user wrote, “March 3 2023 be the day I will change for the better.” While another said, “It’s time to quit TikTok. It is affecting you more than you realize.” Another user wrote, “Let’s collectively quit TikTok on March 3.” One person straightaway wrote, “On March 3, I am deleting TikTok.”
